"An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen is our national population health drama, and director Kjersti Horn is ready to dive into the material.
Doctor Stockmann is the doctor who discovers that the most important business of the town is poisoned. He wants to warn everyone in the small town about his discovery. But when the governing bodies realise that this will have great economic consequences for the local society, they prefer to cover up the embarrassing affair. A great drama begins to play out, in which heroes and crooks switches places in the confusion of what is right and wrong.
Standing alone against the mightier isn't easy. Truth is tough. The mob is ruthless, in capitalism, media and the depth of the population - and the idealist often has to pay a high price for his conviction."
