Peer Gynt

Peer Gynt (1960) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Touring Theatre, based on the play by Henrik Ibsen. The production went on tour in the spring, opening at Haslemoen, and in the autumn.

Barthold Halle directed it.

Jens Bolling played the title role. He had interpreted the same role at Rogaland Theatre in 1950.

Gerd Jørgensen played the role of Mother Aase.

Randi Sommer played the role of Solveig.

Peer Gynt was also performed as a visiting performance in Sweden, for five performances. Four performances were given in harbours by the North Sea.
