Pan
Pan (2008) was a theatre production by The Arctic Theatre in collaboration with The Norwegian Touring Theatre. Pan was based on the novel by Knut Hamsun, in a theatrical adaption by Yngve Sundvor. The production was performed at Scene Vest, The Arctic Theatre, prior to going on tour the spring of 2009, with its tour opening in Grimstad April 16.
Yngve Sundvor directed the theatre production. With the production, he wanted to lift the novel into contemporary times.
Per Kjerstad played the role of Lieutenant Glahn, and was nominated for The Hedda Award 2009 in the best leading actor category.
Stage designer Arne Nøst was nominated for The Hedda Award in the best visual design category for his work on the production.
