Når hjertet slår ut med arman* (When the heart opens its arms)
Når hjertet slår ut med arman* (When the heart opens its arms) (1987) was a musical theatre production by The Arctic Theatre. It was a cabaret of songs by Jacques Brel, connected with texts by Alex Scherpf. The production opened in Tromsø, prior to being performed on tour in the counties of Finnmark and Troms.
Alex Scherpf directed it.
The lyrics of the songs were performed in translations made especially for the theatre, by Ragnar Olsen.
*Not yet translated into the English. The title within parentheses is the Norwegian title's literal meaning. The Norwegian title is spelled in Northern Norwegian dialect.
