Nordavindsvalsen* (The Northern Wind Waltz)

Nordavindsvalsen* (The Northern Wind Waltz) (1981) was a theatre production by The Arctic Theatre, a cabaret of songs compiled from poems by Arvid Hanssen, selected from his five poetry collections, to especially composed music by Per Christian Hansen. The opening took place at Vangsvik in Senja, after which the production was performed on tour.

Helge Jordal directed it.

The production was part of the theatre's repertoire for a year and a half. The last performance took place during Arctic Arts Festival 1982.

Nordavindsvalsen was also released as a LP record.

*Not yet translated into the English. The title within parentheses is the Norwegian title's literal meaning.
