L´Effet de Serge by Vivarium Studio/Philippe Quesne (France):
In Serge's small, messy apartment spectacular events are staged with help of car lights, carton boxes, music and special effects. Serge finds his effects in the magic of childhood, during which daily-life objects are revived.
L´Effet de Serge received the Obie Award in 2010, the newspaper The Village Voice's award for the best theatre production.

"L’effet de Serge is a portrait of the artist at work, and even when he’s playing around with a remote-control car, he displays a dignity and seriousness of purpose that make everything else seem beside the point."
Jason Zineman, The New York Times, Januar 2010
"(...) L´Effet de Serge kommuniserer selve essensen i det som er teater. Den viser oss hvordan det enkleste objekt, de reneste fakter, kan produsere noe vidunderlig"
Alexis Soloski, The Village Voice, Desember 2009
