Street Games – Hymn – Giselle

Street Games – Hymn – Giselle (1965) was a ballet production by The Norwegian National Opera. The production was performed by The Norwegian National Opera in Folketeateret and comprised 3 ballets:

Street Games, choreographed by Walter Gore to music by Jacques Ibert.

Hymn, choreographed by Brian Macdonald to music by Frederick Delius.

Giselle choreographt by Marius Petipa / Leonid Lavronski / Doris Laine / Joan Harrismusic by Adolphe Adam.

Henny Mürer danced the title role. Her farewell performance at the Norwegian National Opera was on 4 December 1965. The role was later danced by Anne Borg, and in 1969 by Kari Blakstad.

in October 1965 Giselle was revived, and was after that date performed alone. 

Giselle was performed at the Bergen International Festival in 1969.
