At the website of The Norwegian Theatre the following, among other things, is written about Åstaddiktning* (Scene of the event poetry):

"In a winter forest, eighty-six hearts fly through the air.

In a compartment sits a poet. A rescue crew gathers. Someone searches for the breathing from a child's bed. Two persons meet for the first time.

(...)

Through his play åstaddikting, Eirik Fauske raises themes connected to a series of human destinies, who in one expanded moment are affected by a major accident. It is a theatre performance about ordinary people in moments that may change the direction of their lives. The big bang, or the event opening for thoughts on the most central issues, clearly proving how fragile life can be.

The performance is a staging of moments, a frieze or a narrative about how and what a life may be. It is as much about looking from the outside in, about the audience attitude and ability to observe such a trajectory, as it is the story of an accident in itself. How we, as an audience, can understand and how we use our own perceptibility, will be as important as the stage action in itself.

(...)

Kai Johnsen directs, and brings Eirik Fauske's text into a process at Scene 3, where they are to create different tableaus of possible situations. The image of life as a journey, how people onstage flows through, like mini-societies on wheels, will change the theatrical situation and turn the audience members into co-actors rather than just spectators to this theatrical game."
