Teaterklubben: Juleklubb* (The Theatre Club: Christmas Club) in Det Åpne Teater (The Open Theatre) the autumn of 2009 was an event in which the children were allowed to join in the creation of the theatre venue. Teaterklubben: Juleklubb was based in Alf Prøysen’s short story The town that forgot it was Christmas and provided the children with an opportunity to play with the different effects of the theatre.

During the autumn of 2009 Det Åpne Teater (The Open Theatre) performed five different performances for children of different age groups. Every time the performance was followed by Teaterklubben* (The Theatre Club). The children worked on cartoon mime on the floor with Teater Joker, they made their own world in a box with Janne Langaas, they participated in acrobatic exercises regarding friendship with Teatteri Tuike, improvised with Theatre Isenkram and made drawings in connection to LUFT (Air).

Teaterklubben: Juleklubb*(The Theatre Club: Christmas Club) was an independent event and not part of any other performance.
