The Wild Duck

The Wild Duck (1885) was a theatre production by The National Stage. It was the world premiere of the play by Henrik Ibsen. The production was performed at Komediehuset. It was revived in 1886 and 1888.

Gunnar Heiberg directed it.

Lars Michelsen played the role of Hjalmar Ekdal.

Nicolai Halvorsen played the role of Gregers Werle. At the revival in 1888, Severin Roald took over the role.

Didi Heiberg, who was still called Didrikke Tollefsen at the time of the opening, played the role of Hedvig. Bine Tollefsen took it over at the revival in 1888.
