In The Brothers Lionheart Karl and Jonatan have lived short lives on earth. They are reunited in the land of Nangijala where "the campfires and storytelling days" is the rule. Now they are supposed to be happy in the Cherry Valley, where their small white house lays. But there turns out to be evil also in paradise. Karl and Jonatan decide to battle the evil knight Tengil and his dragon Katla and hence become the brave brothers Lionheart.
