Pillars of Society

Pillars of Society (1877) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on the play by Henrik Ibsen. The production was performed in Komediehuset. It was revived in 1879 and 1880.

Nils Wichstrøm directed it.

Jacob Asmundsen played the role of Karsten Bernick. Emil Poulsen visited in the role at the revival in 1880.

Octavia Sperati played the role of Lona Hessel.

In 1878, the production was performed as a visiting performance in Stavanger, and in 1881 it was performed as a visiting performance in Trondheim.
