Scenes from Peer Gynt
Peer Gynt (1896) was a theatre production by The National Stage, a much shortened version of the play by Henrik Ibsen. Only the scenes with Peer and Mother Aase together, plus one of his monologues, were performed. The production was staged at Komediehuset.
Henrik Klausen interpreted the title role, and Julie Lampe played Mother Aase.
