Peer Gynt

Peer Gynt (1936) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on the play by Henrik Ibsen.

Halfdan Christensen directed it.

Hans Jacob Nilsen interpreted the title role.

The production was revived in 1937 and in 1939. The 1939 production was the farewell performance for Hans Jacob Nilsen as head of the theatre.
