There's nothing new under the sun
There's nothing new under the sun by Toyboys had its world wide premiere at Dramatikkens Hus the spring of 2010.
Do you like the Eurovision Song Contest because you are gay or are you gay because you like the Eurovision Song Contest?
Even though it's impossible to draw any logical conclusions on the basis of such a flimsy hypothesis we find that a great number of gay men and women all over Europe are passionate followers of the song contest. Which leads us to the question: "Why?"

What exactly is it about the Eurovision Song Contest that makes almost 10 percent of the population worship it in the same way they worship opera, Christmas decorations, musicals and Disney films? This is not exactly scientific research and Toyboys did not even try to give more than a hint of an answer to the question. But based in own experience and 50 years of sequin-covered TV entertainment, Toyboys wanted to demonstrate how such shallow attractions can give life both depth and meaning.
With There’s nothing new under the sun Toyboys plunged into unscientific research on the issue – which couldn’t have been better, considering that the very final of ESC was arranged in Oslo in 2010.
The opening performance May 15 2010 started with a mini-concert inspired by Eurovision Song Contest featuring Hans Esben Gilje and was followed by an opening party where all the members of the audience were welcome.
The performance May 19 2010 started with a mini-concert inspired by Eurovision Song Contest during the 1960es, featuring Tor Tveite.
