The Spanish Fly
The Spanish Fly (1940) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on the farce by Franz Arnold and Ernst Bach. The production was performed at the theatre's main stage, until an air attack hit The National Stage June 15, ruining the auditorium and the vestibule of the theatre. The production reopened in Ole Bull Teatret June 20.
Egil Hjort-Jenssen directed it.
Hans Stormoen played the role of Klinke. When the production was revived in 1946, Hans Bille took over the role.
The 1946 production was performed at The National Stage's main stage, and nine performances were given during this run.
