Eurohæ?* (Eurowhat?)
Eurohæ? (2000) was a production by Baktruppen. Baktruppen sent writer Dag Solstad on interrail from Moscow to Dublin to create what they called a "Euro horror show" based on his reports from the trip.
*The title is a nonsensical word compiled by the words Euro and hæ. The former is short for European, as it is in English, the second a word used to ask a person to repeat what he or she just said, like What? In other words, a more or less direct translation of the title Eurohæ? would be Eurowhat?

"Sun rises in the East and sets in the West, and my consumption is never turned upside-down. We are in a condition of "No Madness". It is strange. Strange barbarity."
Eurohæ? is built on recordings made by the Norwegian novel writer Dag Solstad during his interrail trip through Northern Europe. He personally chose the places he wanted to go.

Marit Strømmen, On Baktruppen’s rough guide to Europe, date and publisher unknown:
"Baktruppen's new production Eurohæ? is a guide as rough as they get. In one hour a dozen performers and a dozen extras make their way through urban culture in Europe. In films, monologues, choreographies and songs, Baktruppen make their point about the state of Europe. A selection of cities to stop in is chosen by Norwegian author Dag Solstad who offers his own comments on the trip. These taped reflections and the action of the performers captures Europe in all its destructive corruption and bureaucratic prostitution."
