From the play The Girl, the Mother and the Rubbish by Erik Uddenberg, based on a book by Suzanne Osten: "Sometimes I think like this: That in an ordinary, yellow house in a silent street, an Unknown Power has settled. One, no, two Demons."*
This is how the story begins. It is about the girl Ti who lives with her mother in a flat filled with rubbish. The mother is schizophrenic, and she has two invisible guardians: Polter and Geist. But Ti is a girl with imagination and around her is a neighbour, a teacher and a locksmith.
The Girl, the Mother and the Rubbish by Brageteatret visited The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater) in February 2007.
