Jeppe of the Hill
Jeppe of the Hill (2004) was a theatre production by Freelanceteateret, based on the comedy by Ludvig Holberg.
Sigurd Aae Klausen directed it.

Jeppe of the Hill is about the peasant who gets his ass kicked by his wife, and who rather than solve his problem in a rational manner denies them by getting senselessly drunk. The mansion owner the baron and his people decide to make a joke on Jeppe's behalf. They carry him to the baron's bed to see what happens when he wakes up. Jeppe awakens and wonders if he has come to heaven or if he is still alive. He slowly changes character from being suppressed and bullied to becoming a suppressor.
