"Swedish Fredrik Backman's success novel A Man Called Ove was turned into a film and into theatre last year. The world premiere at the theatre Rivalen in Stockholm got excellent reviews (...).
The novel about the 58-year-old grumpy Ove has sold more than 100 000 copies in Norway, and it is a triumph the world over. The widower Ove is the ill-tempered stickler for the rules who 'reigns' the cooperative with an iron fist. He is the fear of the neighbourhood. We all know a man like him. But beneath the surface of this austere, rigorous man is another Ove. A lonely man who mourns the loss of his wife."
