In the performance Schicklgruber - alias Adolf Hitler by Stuffed Puppet Theatre we find ourselves in Berlin, April 20th 1945. The Russian army has entered the suburbs and the soldiers are fighting their way towards the city centre. The bunker of Der Führer lies deep underneath the surface among the governmental buildings. Down here, in half dark, a small group of people is gathered. The few selected are trying to create a good mode due to the birthday of their leader. But to everyone it is clear it’s only a question of time before it all is over.
Schicklgruber - alias Adolf Hitler by Stuffed Puppet Theatre was supported by Fonds Amateurkunst En Podiumkunsten, VSB Fonds and Arts Council Norway.

"At the same time, Stuffed Puppets’ performance is filled with humour dark as night, deep seriousness and warm humanity. The servant character adds a human contrast to the grotesque creatures gathered under earth, this puppetry is a human way of declaring something about the inhuman."
Andreas Wiese, Dagbladet
