The Sound of Music

The Sound of Music (1988)was a musical theatre production by Underholdningshuset A/S, Håvard Bratvold and Thalia Teater. The Sound of Music was based on the musical by Richard Rodgers (music), Oscar Hammerstein (lyrics), Howard Lindsay (book) and Russel Crouse (book), based on the autobiography of Maria von Trapp, The Trapp Family Singers. The production was performed at Chateau Neuf.

Daniel Bohr directed it.

Sissel Kyrkjebø played the role of Maria.

Sverre Anker Ousdal played the role of Georg von Trapp.
