The Red Golden Castle in the North West Sea

The Red Golden Castle in the North West Sea directed by Katrine M. E. Strøm, Katma:

When Teater Klubb'81 was invited to the international theatre festival for children and youth theatre "Atzalyno scena" with The Red Golden Castle in the North West Sea, the performance was changed so that the children in Lithuania would understand it. The play got a new title, Raudona Paauksuota Pilis Šiaurés Vakarų Jũroje, the scenography was changed, emphasis was given to the visual aspect of the performance, and almost all the text was removed. In the end one word was left; Mamma! (Mamma means Mommy.)

The Red Golden Castle in the North West Sea directed by Katrine M. E. Strøm, Katma, was based on the story by Regine Normann bearing the same name. It was a visual, beautiful and poetic little piece that expresses courage and longing through the character Karianna.

She must go through many dangers and perils in order to set free the prince who, by the magic touch of the evil dragon, has been captured in a mountain.
