Nella Tempesta
Nella Tempesta is a theatre production by the Italian theatre company Motus, inspired by The Tempest by William Shakespeare.
Enrico Casagrande and Daniela Nicolò are responsible for the concept and direction.
The production was performed at Black Box Teater during Oslo International Theatre Festival 2015.
The same festival also showed the Motus production Caliban Cannibal. That, too, is inspired by Shakespeare's The Tempest and by poetry by the poet Aimé Césaire.

"Nella Tempesta reflects upon the disturbance of society and the consequences of the economic crisis. The production also revolves around the storms in The Mediterranean Sea, sinking the ships of the migrants who sailed from the North African coast to reach Europe. This version of Shakespeare's The Tempest imagines a world not at its road's end, but a world on the verge of a new beginning. As a contrasting text the company uses the poet Aimé Césaire's poem Une tempête (A Tempest). The critically acclaimed company Motus was last seen at Black Box Teater the spring of 2012 with the production Too Late."
The spectators were encouraged to bring clean blankets to the performance. The blankets were used during the show and afterwards donated to the charity organisation Folk er folk.
