My Name is Rachel Corrie
My Name is Rachel Corrie (2008) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre in collaboration with The Norwegian Touring Theatre. It was the Norwegian premiere of the monologue by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner, based on diary entries and letters by Rachel Corrie. The production was staged in Prøvesalen, The Norwegian Theatre (now called Scene 3).
Kjersti Horn directed it.
Kaia Varjord played the role of Rachel Corrie.
The production went on tour with The Norwegian Theatre the autumn of 2008.
Rachel Corrie was an American activist who was killed by an Israeli bulldozeer in Gaza in 2003. She was 23.
