Angels walking through urban space
Angels walking through urban space by dybwikdans was a dance installation.
In the occasion of the opening ceremony of Stavanger as European Capital of Culture, dybwikdans was invited to join the parade. The company contributed an installation consisting of three angels; not the Christian variety, but the angel that is within everyone. The angel is universal and independent of culture and religion, and it represents the good in us, what can create peace.

Angels walking through urban space by dybwikdans was made in collaboration between stage designer Terese Arildsdatter Riis and choreographer Siri Dybwik, with a sound installation by Nils Christian Fossdal.
Angels walking through urban space was developed as an installation for reflexion. Dybwikdans wanted to create a moment of silence through the use of time, and in addition visualise the beautiful and etheral through these figures.
