More

At the webpage of Teater Manu the following, among other things, is written about Karius and Bactus:

"This is the first time one of Thorbjørn Egner's theatre productions is performed in Norwegian signed language.

Karius and Bactus have their house in Jens' teeth. They love sweets and loaf with syrup. Jens is a little bit stupid, because he never brushes his teeth, and he gets holes in them. Karius and Bactus make the holes very big, because that gives them more room for their houses. But one day, Jens has to go to the dentist - and that is not at all to Karius and Bactus' liking…

Karius and Bactus is the story of two little guys who don't fit in. They are not allowed to be where they most want to be. Karius and Bactus do what falls natural to them. Egner tells the story of Jens. We tell the story of Karius and Bactus."
