More

At the website of Teater Manu the following, among other things, is written about Antigone:

"Love, war, violence and the arrogance of power cause human tragedy. The two brothers of Antigone stand on each their side in a civil war - and kill each other. The king prohibits the burial of the traitor brother. But Antigone breaks the ban - and is sentenced to death. Antigone has been called the first example of civil disobedience in theatre literature."
