The solo show Lynch Concert – a performance for body and solo voice by Stuart Lynch – was created as a necessity.
Lynch was invited to perform at two different festivals the same day. He signed both contracts, but "avoided to tell that the play was not yet created". The solution was writing a new production, a work made as a musical variety not demanding technical staging.
"The concert expression gives me the great freedom to express myself on subjects important to me: Madness, religion, feminism, ecology and comedy", Stuart Lynch concluded.
Lynch Concert is a series of following solos for body and voice. It contains the performances Teaching Butoh to the Japanese, Krishna and The Last Goodbye.
