Victoria
Flowers and blood
Victoria (1981) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Touring Theatre, subtitled Flowers and blood. It was based on the novel by Knut Hamsun, in an adaptation by Sverre Udnæs. The premiere took place at The Arts Festival of North Norway the summer of 1981. During the autumn it went on tour, with its tour opening in Melhus.
Sverre Udnæs directed it.
Anne Beate Odland interpreted the title role. She had played the role of Camilla when The Norwegian Touring Theatre staged Victoria in 1978.
Even Stormoen played Johannes, son of the miller.
The produciton visited Sweden, with a run of eight performances.
