More
In "The Africa Trilogy" Africa of the past and the present meet in three plays, all of them highlighting how the African has had to suffer in meeting with Western cultural imperialism.
Using its physical repertoire Theatre Albatross depicts the incredible sufferings with mutilation, starvation, hostage takings and slavery to death in the king’s private mines. The play is based on an expressive, corporal acting style.
