At the webpage of The National Theatre the following, among other things, is written about Immer noch Sturm:

"It is the story of a Slovenian farming family in Carinthia, threatened with language prohibitions and resettlement in the Nazi period. They join the resistance, but after the end of the war, after only a few weeks of hard-won freedom, they are once again suppressed and excluded.

The narrator recalls his ancestors as a black and white photo, retouching himself into it and bringing it to life, little by little. As an old man, dreaming and recounting, he sees himself as a child, sleeping in an apple orchard. He sees himself as a young man who wants to take control of his life, stepping out from behind his mother. He creates playfully theatrical characters, who argue with each other, experience happiness and sadness and encounter his grandparents, aunts and uncles. The narrator is a guest in this remembered community, but they call him home to the places of his childhood."

Peter Handke won The International Ibsen Award 2014, and the production will be performed as a visiting performance at The National Theatre in Oslo during The Ibsen Festival 2014.
