More

At the webpage of Rogaland Theatre the following, among other things, is written about Little Eyolf:

"Little Eyolf is one of Ibsen's last plays and perhaps his most mysterious. This may have marginalised the play in its day, but makes it highly topical in today's society. In Little Eyolf we go behind a polished family facade to be confronted with the question 'Are we brave enough to lead a life in honesty?'.

This is the story of a family who loses a child and in the aftermath of the tragedy the unsaid oozes out to explode. Suddenly the family members are made responsible for their actions and suppressed wishes."
