The Threepenny Opera

The Threepenny Opera (1973) was a theatre production by The National Theatre, based on the work by Bertolt Brecht (libretto) and Kurt Weill (music). Due to groundwork beneath The National Theatre, the production was performed at Chat Noir.

Pål Løkkeberg directed it.

Sverre Anker Ousdal played the role of Mack the Knife.

Finn Ludt, who led the orchestra, received Norwegian Critics' Award for music 1972/1972 for his efforts.
