Kåloffer. Variasjoner over rødkål* (Cabbage sacrifice. Variations over red cabbage) (1996) was an action by Tone Avenstroup and Niko Tenten. The action was co-produced by Theaterwerkstatt "reich & berühmt '96".

Avenstroup provides the following information about the project:

"Action red cabbage. Red cabbage as an important part of life: Food ingredient as technical basis for an event. With cook Uwe Guggenheim they had prepared a menu mostly consisting of red cabbage. While the visitors ate the cabbage, Avenstroup and Tenten read a text about William Tell and his battle for freedom, with idioms mixed in and with apples on their heads. On the wall there was a projection of a burning shoe.

The action was performed in the cafeteria of Podewil during Theaterwerkstatt "reich & berühmt' 96" in Berlin.

Menu:
1. Wir wollen unsern Kohl in Frieden bauen (marinated red cabbage with roasted duck breast)
2. Wie der Kohl gekocht ist, so schmeckt er (red cabbage soup)
3. Unser Kohl schmeckt wohl (red cabbage cake with apple sauce)
4. Man muß den Kohl nicht den Gänsen zur Hut geben (red cabbage rolls with potatoes and compote)
5. Nach Luthers Kohl riechen (roast pork with red cabbage and South German egg nudles)
6. Aufgewärmter Kohl macht dem Tode wohl (coffee)"
