KokoKokken* (The Cuckoo Cook) is the fifth performance for children produced by Stigespillerne.
KokoKokken is built as a one man show, in which Lars Voss Sørhus presents the characters KoKoKokken, Mrs. Frynze and Chief of Police Surenbarth. The names can be translated to The Cuckoo Cook, Mrs. Fringe and Chief of Police Sour Mustache.
KokoKokken is characterised by theatrical playfulness. Acrobatics, quick changes, song and puppetry are among the effects put in use to tell the story about KoKoKokken and his unlucky day at work.
More mess!
KoKoKokken has promised to bake a cake for Chief of Police Surenbarth’s birthday party. But because the cake ends up in KoKoKokken’s face approximately 43 minutes prior to being picked up by the terrible Mrs. Frynze Surenbarth, KoKoKokken has to make his utmost effort to bake another cake in a hurry. But this turns out not to be too easy... Even time works against him, the flour has fallen asleep, the Cake Messenger Service is rude and KoKoKokken is and will always be a doofus...
