King Lear

King Lear was a theatre production by The National Theatre, produced in 1971 and based on the play by William Shakespeare. The production was staged at The National Theatre's main stage.

Jan Bull directed it, and Georg Løkkeberg played the role of King Lear.

Henki Kolstad won The Norwegian Critics' Award 1970/1971 for his interpretation of the Fool.

The stage designer and costume designer was Lubos Hruza.
