In Performing Arts Hub Norway's catalogue for 1984 the following, among other things, is written about Gammalt tull fra gammal skrull* (Old Foolery from Old Foolery):

"In the form of musical theatre, we show two short stories, Kirkebrannen* (The Church Fire), based on a fire in Grue in 1822, where 113 people burned to death because the doors of the church went inwards, and The Abandoned Doll - a shortened version of the play by Alfonso Sastre, about a doll with two mothers. Mattis the fiddler has to serve as a judge to decide who is the right mother of the doll. He uses the chalk circle test.

We use the guitar, pan flutes and other Native American flutes, the accordion and song."
