More

The artists write the following, among other things, about Juliet + Romeo:

"Tell me how the right love should be? Two clowns, one love bubble, one veranda, one relationship, a Hawaii shirt, angel wings and heroic promises of love, dissatisfaction, emptiness, misunderstandings and arguments.

What would really have happened if Romeo and Juliet got each other and moved in together? In Juliet + Romeo we meet two clowns who want to be Romeo and Juliet, the ultimate romantic perfection. The play turns the Shakespearean love drama upside down, and examines the great ideals and clichés of our time. What do the clowns do when their dreams of love collide with everyday life, when the contrasts grow large, expectations and wills split part, and glossy pictures are to be maintained?"
