Hey Girl!
Hey Girl! By Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio (Italy) is theatre of subconsciousness, finding inspiration in the fundamental myths of Western culture, theatre in which science, sound and visual force melts together in what approaches holistic theatre composition. Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio visited Norway two days in March 2008, exclusively performing in Bergen.

Hey Girl! is the kind of theatre only Romeo Castellucci and Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio offer. The works of this Italian director and his company are often compared with the Wunderkammer (Cabinet of Curiosities) of the Baroque, in which the spectator gets to experience many and strange events.
With Hey Girl! Castellucci throws the metaphors away and tries to approach a point zero. With pure movement, no wish for meaning or suggestion for transformation, he seeks to address the individual spectator with a purest possible scenic expression. Castellucci invite his audience to observe without having to use associations or memories. Hey Girl! is a theatre production in which movement, or movement and gestures, are central. When all comes to an end, a category of dance.
