In Waiting for Gavo by Gavin Turk some artists gather to reflect over their existence and its problematic nature. Existential horror meets slapstick when the audience is presented for Joseph Beuys and Marcel Duchamp who make small talk about their respective psychological prisons under a tree in a desolate landscape, only disturbed by Andy Warhol and his dark, naïve wisdom, plus the representative for heartless capitalism, the art collector Scratchi.
Gavin Turk is one of the artists associated with the well-known label Young British Artists.
