Peer Gynt

Peer Gynt was a theatre production produced by Rogaland Theatre in 2001, based on the play by Henrik Ibsen. The production was performed at the theatre's main stage.

Leif Stinnerbom directed it and was nominated for The Hedda Award 2002 in best direction category.

Kyrre Haugen Sydness interpreted the title role.

In Peer Gynt by Rogaland Theatre, The Swedish Stinnerbom family collaborated backstage: The father, Leif Stinnerbom, directed the production, the mother, Inger Stinnerbom, designed the costumes, and their son Magnus Stinnerbom wrote new music.

Peer Gynt was one of two versions of the play performed simultaneously at Rogaland Theatre. The other was a one-woman-show with Marika Enstad, directed by Stig Bråten.
