Steinar Wiik, Viktig teaterfestival (literally: Important theatre festival), 03.09.1990, Aftenposten [Oslo]:
"This is one of the simplest and purest Ibsen productions I have ever seen - the stage design was limited to four chairs and a very refined use of lighting. [...] At one and the same time the performance was ascetic and passionate. [...] A strong and very well coordinated ensemble penetrated here Ibsen's most peculiar in a radical new way - very different from how Baktruppen did it in its surreal paraphrase over the same drama."
