Entertainment Island 1-3
Entertainment Island 1-3 is a trilogy by the Finnish artist group Oblivia.
At the webpage of Bastard, the international performing arts festival of Trondheim, the following, among other things, is written about Entertainment Island 1-3:
"In the trilogy Entertainment Island 1-3 the Finnish company Oblivia examines how trivial culture and entertainment find corporal and linguistic resonance in the users. They don't work with entertainment as such, but with revealing the structures and stories behind the phenomena. The body is staged as an arena of identity in which stories are played out, stories characterised by daily interaction with and participation in the entertainment industry's different expressions such as film, music, electronic media, pornography, trivial literature, TV and social media. Around each expression subcultures are formed, with their own terminology and symbolism."

"Oblivia drills through the endlessly big world of entertainment and pop culture, from the shining surface to the dark private areas beneath.

Oblivia from Helsinki has existed as a company since 2000. The working process of the company often starts with a big idea, one that is so big it initially seems too big to handle. The interdisciplinary and minimalist expression is of the very humorous kind."

Writer and date unknown, Dagens Nyheter [Sverige]:
"After having heard the line 'You're good!' repeated, varied and hammered like a mantra by three performers during 45 minutes I am beginning to believe in it. Not, let that be said, that I am good. But that Oblivia is good. Very good."
Writer and date unknown, The Herald [London]:
"The meticulous physicality and unstinting humour of this superb Finnish company are a tremendous vehicle for communicating complex issues and profound observations on popular culture."
