In the book by Inger Buresund and Anne-Britt Gran titled Frie grupper og Black Box Teater. 1970-1995 (literally: Independent companies and Black Box Teater 1970-1995) (adNotam Gyldendal, Oslo, 1996) the following, among other things, is written about Storyteller by The Theatre of Cruelty:
"With generous permission from the family Black Box Teater arranged a performance in memory of Hans Christian Ostrø, the very evening his Katharsis Teater was supposed to have had an opening at the theatre. The Ostrø family, Black Box Teater, colleagues and friends of Hans Christian wanted to react to the insane event, in which innocent people were pulled into political conflicts, abused without consideration. The way the Al-Faran guerrilla took Hans Christian Ostrø hostage and later executed him must not be forgotten!
Hans Christian's journey to India and Kashmir had the purpose of studying old dance and theatre traditions, and to collect material for the production at Black Box. Based on notes from Hans Christian himself, among other material, friends and former colleagues were responsible for the content of this memorial."
