Now the field is open (2012) by dEEp doWN dopEiZM, Impure Company/Hooman Sharifi and Javid Afsari Rad is a performance based on distinct characters and originality, and collaboration across divides has been the aim.
What happens when three totally different cultures meet? What can Norwegian contemporary dance, Persian traditional music and street and club dance add to each other? Or: What happens when Impure Company/Hooman Sharifi meet Javid Afsari Rad and dEEp doWN dopEIZM?

Now the Field is Open byImpure Company/Hooman Sharifi, Javid Afsari Rad and dEEp doWN dopEIZMis a cultural meeting and a dialogue. At the same time it is - according to Dansens hus - a nuanced culture clash, unpredictable and innovative.
How do they communicate? Does one bend to reshaping one's language, or does one become clearer and more outspoken on what is one's own? To which degree is one willing or able to adjust one's own? And to what does one, in that case, adjust to, and for whom? Can collaborate exist without having the individuality disappear? Transparent, open meetings rise, and the audience is invited to take part.
