According to Kulturproduksjoner the production is appropriate for children from 4-5 years until 9-10 years. Simple puppetry is used to create illusions underway, but the program mainly rests on the meeting with Wergeland and his stories - in the meeting between the actress and the audience.
The program varies some due to age groups in the audience.
Wergeland for de minste* (Wergeland for the youngest) has toured with The Cultural Rucksack in Oslo, Hedmark and Hordaland, and visited Kulturhaust Ryfylke.

"The children sat wide-eyed listening to what Karen Høie had to tell when she visited the library at Judaberg .... The story about Vesle-Brunen (Little Brownie) and other Wergeland stories got them involved, the youngest from the Talgje kindergarten, as well as the somewhat elder from the fourth grade at the school Finnøy Sentralskule."
