"Woyzeck is a private who has a small child with his girlfriend Marie. To increase his pay, which he gives to Marie and the child, he works as a barber for his captain and he allows himself to be used as a lab rat by a doctor. A drum-major seduces Marie and Woyzeck kills her with a knife."
