The Abandoned Doll
The Abandoned Doll (1983) was a theatre production by Petrusjka Teater, based on the text El circulito de tiza o Historia de una muñeca abandonada by Alfonso Sastre. Sastre's play is inspired by Bertolt Brecht's play The Caucasian Chalk Circle.
Ole Bruun-Rasmussen directed it.
El circulito de tiza o Historia de una muñeca abandonada means The Small Chalk Circle, or The Story of the Abandoned Doll. This Norwegian production was performed using the title Historien om den forlatte dokka, meaning The Story of the Abandoned Doll. The same play has also been produced in Norway under the alternative title, Den lille krittringen (meaning The Small Chalk Circle).

In Performance Art Hub Norway's catalogue from 1984 the following, among other things, is written about The Abandoned Doll:
"Rosita has been given a doll she has ruined and thrown away. Paca finds it and repairs it, but then Rosita wants it back. Who should have the rights to the doll? The rag-gatherer Julian serves as their judge, with the help of the legend about the chalk circle. The moral is that the world ought to belong to those who makes it a better place!"
