In Dunongen og Tempusegget* (The Feathered Child and the Egg of Time) by Solveig Leinan-Hermo the action is set in the world of seagulls. The feathered child has finally learned how to fly. But she still doesn’t master all the rules her mother keeps trying to teach her, and she is fed up with the nagging. The feathered child, like most children, doesn’t want to do what her parents tell her. She would rather test everything new and exciting, such as flying to the moon.
In the story the feathered child was given new tasks. She got new insight and knowledge through the different tests, being both exciting and entertaining. The audience was encouraged to help her solve the different tasks.
Dunongen og Tempusegget existed in Norwegian, Finnish and Russian versions. The Norwegian version was performed as a production by the company and in collaboration with The Cultural Rucksack.
